Biba Party Shop Terms and Conditions

CAKES AND PASTRIES
ORDER
Place your orders at least four weeks notice and confirmation. Short notice orders are subject to Biba's availability on the date required.


50% deposit is required upon placement of each order. The final payment is due one week before delivery/pick-up date, by cash bank deposit. If the final balance has not been paid within the agreed time limit, the order will be considered cancelled.

For short notice orders, full payment is required upon placement of each order. Rush fee is 10% of your total bill or a minimum of Php300.00

It is important to finalize your order and place a deposit as soon as possible to hold your date and to confirm your order.


By placing your order by phone, email, or in person you agree that you have read, understand and fully agree to these terms and conditions.

DESIGN
Any cake ordered from a picture or photo of a cake produced by other cake maker, can only be reproduced as Biba Party Shop's interpretation of that cake and will not be an exact reproduction of the cake in the picture or photo. However presentation will be of an equal quality.

CHANGES TO THE CAKE ORDER
Any changes to the order after full payment is made are subject to a change in price. There shall be no changes to the design of the cake within two weeks of the date of event. All changes are subject to availability.

FOOD ALLERGY DISCLAIMER
Customers concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk. Biba Party Shop will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed, or items that may come in contact with any of our creations while eating at catered events. Biba Cakes and Pastries do not accept special orders based on allergies.

SET UP & DELIVERY
Orders are to be collected from our premises on the day of the occasion unless delivery is arranged. Our delivery service is only applicable to orders amounting to Php2000.00. Delivery service is subject to our availability. If delivery is required, a quotation will be provided. Delivery charges vary according to mileage and distance of the delivery location. Client must provide a clear map going to the delivery address.


Set-up Time: We normally arrive at least 2 hours before the event to set up all ordered items. This ensures that there is an appropriate amount of time to arrange the cake & cupcakes before guests arrive.  Biba Party Shop is not responsible for any damage to the cake, or shortage of cake, caused by a guest, caterer, or any other person not employed by  Biba Party Shop

Client should provide the table (stable table) and it should ready by the agreed delivery time. Client should assign someone to look after the cake to prevent it from being damaged by any means including, but not limited to, poking, touching, and bumping the cake or the surface in which it is displayed. The client is responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table, and environment for the cake(s). Client should provide a display area that is not subject to extreme vibrations, heat and the like.

Also, If you are planning an outdoor event, remember - flies love sweets, heat melts most icings and high humidity will also turn gum paste flowers limp, chocolate curls will melt. Rain and wind can cause havoc such as collapsing tents and blowing table cloths right off of the tables. Biba Party Shop is not responsible for what happens to your cake, be it weather, insect, or animal.

SELF PICK-UP & TRANSPORT
During transport, make sure that the cake sits on a clean level surface inside the vehicle. Client must have an air-conditioned vehicle and chilled air must be able to reach the cake/s. Cakes should never be held on one’s lap. Never put your cake in the trunk of your car, on the seat or any uneven surface.

Biba Party Shop is no longer liable for whatever damage occur once the client pick up the cake from our premises.

STORAGE
Fondant is not designed to be refrigerated and as such cakes with this icing should be stored in an air conditioned room. Preferably in the box they were supplied in. Refrigeration may cause the artwork to soften, bleed and affect the quality of the cake. You may however, refrigerate the cake after the event. Do not keep the cake in warm conditions. If the cake gets to hot this will also affect the quality of the cake.

Under no circumstances is the florist or any other person allowed to place fresh flowers on or around the cake/cupcakes. Fresh flowers may contain pesticides, fertilizers, insects, dirt and contaminants. Some flowers and foliage are in fact toxic and poisonous.

CANCELLATION POLICY
An order may be cancelled/re-scheduled provided that a NOTICE is given at least 2 WEEKS before the scheduled date of the event.  
a. Should you cancel your cake order before full payment has been made, the 50% deposit to hold your date is non-refundable.
b. Should you cancel your cake order after FULL PAYMENT has been made and production has begun, you will be refunded your money, less the cost of all supplies already purchased, expenses incurred, and the deposit 50% for the date.
c. If, for any reason, the event is re-scheduled and production has begun, the work completed & amount of product already made will be charged to you. 
 Biba Party Shop may or may not be available on the new scheduled date.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Discovery of new information, changes to agreed circumstances or other factors which tends to circumvent its policies may result in its withdrawal. Non co-operation, frequent changes in orders, changes in locations, facilities or available times, missed appointments, non confirmation of quote acceptance and late payments are examples of contributing factors. 

LIMIT OF LIABILITY
Biba Party Shop take the obligation to provide your cake order very seriously. However, in the very unlikely event of severe medical, natural, or other emergencies that will make it impossible for me to fulfill my obligation, it may be necessary to retain an alternative Cake Designer.  Biba Party Shop will make every effort to secure a replacement cake designer able and / or willing to provide similar products and services as chosen. If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event.

BALLOONS, BALLOON DECORS AND PARTY FAVORS
ORDER

Any balloon decor and/or party favor order that has been taken from a picture or photo produced by other party shop, can only be reproduced as Biba Party Shop's interpretation of that decor and/or party favor and will not be an exact reproduction of the design in the picture or photo. However presentation will be of an equal quality.

Balloon decor and party favor designs are subject for availability.

SELF PICK-UP & TRANSPORT
During transport, make sure that there are enough space for the balloons, balloon decors and party favors. Client must have an air-conditioned vehicle to avoid popping out of balloons. Never put your order in the trunk of your car.

Client should provide the table for the party favors and it should ready by the agreed delivery time.

Client should provide the electricity fee if the venue requires such fees. Biba Party Shop do the balloon decoration on the venue if the orders are for delivery.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND PHOTOBOOTH

RESERVATION
Place your reservation at least two (2) weeks notice and confirmation. Short notice reservations are subject to Biba's availability on the date required.

50% deposit is required upon placement of each  reservations. The final payment is due one week before the date of the event, by cash bank deposit. If the final balance has not been paid within the agreed time limit, the order will be considered cancelled.

For short notice
 reservations, full payment is required upon placement of each reservation.

It is important to finalize your reservations and place a deposit as soon as possible to hold your date and to confirm your reservation.

By placing your reservation by phone, email, or in person you agree that you have read, understand and fully agree to these terms and conditions.

CHANGES
Any changes to the order after full payment is made are subject to a change in price. All changes or additional orders must be done a week before the date of event. All changes are subject to availability.

SET UP
Client must provide a clear map going to the venue of the party.
Photographer/Technicians will arrive at the venue at least 1 hour before the event.

Set-up Time of Photo Booth: We normally arrive at least 1 hour before the event to set up the photo booth. This ensures that there is an appropriate amount of time to arrange the backdrop, props and the photo booth itself.  

Client must provide a covered area not less than 2 m x 3 m space and standard 220V electrical outlet(s) for photo booth operation in the party venue.

MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES
Client is responsible for miscellaneous charges such as permits, electricity charges, corkage and other charges stipulated by the party venue.

TRANSPORTATION, ACCOMODATION AND MEALS
For provincial assignment, additional transportation charges shall apply. Provincial areas shall be limited only to Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Bulacan.

Client must allocate meals to the photo booth photographer/technicians during the event. 

Client must provide accommodation, if only necessary.

If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event.

Biba Party Shop reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and you should look through them as often as possible.
